A birdseye view of CCF may be spectacular
but you really have to walk the property
to appreciate its beauty.

So, c'mon along.

From
the
classic
English
garden
that
fronts
the
main
house

up
and
through
the
low
fieldstone
walls

then
past
the
birdhouse
and
around
to
the
perennial
beds

and
waterfall
that
grace
the
backside
where
you
might
choose
to
tarry
awhile
just
to
listen
to
the
Warblers
sweeten
one
of
Maine's
prettiest
views.
And
when
(if?)
you
rouse
yourself
from
your
reverie

(I'm never going back!)

the
Cove
will
beckon
and
after
just
a
stop
or
two
along
the
way,
you'll
spot
a
hammock
splayed
invitingly
at
river's
edge
and
as
you
settle
in,
the
mantra
will
begin:

"No,
I'm
really
serious
this
time.

Really.

Call
the
boss.

I'm
not
coming
home.

Really.

I'm
not.

Really.
